Just got back from Hokkaido. Not an extremely memorable trip, but nonetheless very pleasant. Was hoping that it’ll enlighten me in some ways, especially that it’ll give me a valid reason to quit my job. Was torn recently over whether I should resign; am thinking of resigning today. Don’t know how to….
Anyway, some good news……..
I backtested a trading strategy and for once, it gave me a positive result. Either my programming skills improved or the strategy is really superior. Guess it is both.

I realize it is very difficult for my orders to be filled when it involves a spread… this is completely different from virtual trading, when orders were executed almost instantaneously.
Selling spreads has lots of limitations… I guess I may go on to just directly buying puts… I remember orders were executed a lot faster when I bought options… Now I am waiting to close my GLBL order…. had been trying to close it for the past few days… is it because the open interest (< 1000) and volume is too low?
Anyway, I’m proud to say I’ve been pretty accurate in spotting some good stocks…. like UAUA, BARE, MAR,SUN….. I guess I should just go to buying puts…. don’t have to worry about strike price, 20% profit target etc…..

I broke one of the rules when I sold ALL… although I should wait for the stock to cross $52 before I know I am definitely wrong, that would cost me a lot because I sold too far below $52…. so now I can only pray that it does not go above $51.50….. or should I get out now? This month results kinda suck…. and I hate it that I missed SUN…..

I was soooooooooooooo close to selling SUN… when I first entered the order, I could sell it at $1… however, I hesitated and checked the charts again… when I returned to the trade screen a while later, it was selling at $0.95… after that, the price kept going down… now at $0.85…..
Sun is such a ‘good catch’… I was willing to sell it before the close of the day… cos its zig zag is so neat… and it hit the 50 Day MA…. and the 13 Month MA was clearly trending down…. one of those dream trades….. sigh….
